xrootd build-depends on libfuse-dev, and xrootd-fuse has a runtime
dependency on libfuse2t64. This is the old FUSE 2 API, which is
unmaintained upstream (the most recent release was in 2019).
It is likely that FUSE 2 will be removed from Debian testing/unstable
at some point in the future.

Please talk to the upstream developer about migrating to the FUSE 3 API
(perhaps by reporting the use of FUSE 2 as a technical-debt bug in the
upstream bug tracking system, if appropriate). There is some information
on migrating to the new API in:
https://github.com/libfuse/libfuse/releases/tag/fuse-3.0.0

Several FUSE filesystems have already done that migration and might make
useful references.

The ongoing transition from the FUSE 2 to FUSE 3 API is tracked by
<https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/fuse-to-fuse3.html> and
<https://udd.debian.org/cgi-bin/bts-usertags.cgi?user=debian...@lists.debian.org&tag=fuse2>.

Thanks,
