How exactly are you building libgedit-gtksourceview? I recommend using sbuild (with the unshare backend) on unstable. If you are not running Unstable or Testing (or Ubuntu 25.04), I recommend getting sbuild 0.88.1~bpo12+1 from bookworm-backports. If it still fails in sbuild, please attach your full build log if you need help. libgedit-gtksourceview builds for me and in Salsa CI: https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/libgedit-gtksourceview/-/pipelines Buildling libgedit-gtksourceview yourself might be unnecessary since it looks like Andreas is packaging the new version of enter-tex (currently named latexila in Debian): https://bugs.debian.org/1093957 Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
