We certainly do NOT ship broken packages on purpose, so it certainly would never affect the default configuration of the package unless we screw up. Do you really feel I need to add such a thing to the NEWs blurb? The blurb does say 'only affect users which provide non-default templates based on 2.4.0 templates' I guess I will just tell people to read the upstream RELEASE_NOTES for more info and drop the explanation. Does the one below look good enough ? --8<-- There are incompatible changes in this version, please refer to /usr/share/doc/amavisd-new/changelog.gz for more information. * Notification templates incompatibility with 2.4.0 (but not with versions 2.3.3 or older). Will affect only users which provide non-default templates based on 2.4.0 templates. --8<-- -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
