Thank you for responding to this bug report.  As you might have noticed, I

I have been working with Manuel Guerra to develop the patch.  He is an up-and-
coming package maintainer who was looking for some easy bugs to cut his teeth 
on and I recommended this one.  I made several comments on his MR, including 
some stylistic ones as I was planning to salvage the package, but I will close 
all the stylistic comments.  As you will be reviewing the patch, you can 
direct what you would like the style to look like.

There are still some functional changes that need to be made to the MR before 
it can be merged.  I am happy to continue to work with Manuel to get it ready.  
My personal interest is in getting complete .bdic coverage from all Hunspell 
packages.
