Please note that poppler has a new soname bump for every release which happens at the beginning of every month. Because of limited time to do everything, Debian only ends up getting a few of those releases, but every new release has a new number for libpoppler. Also, I may close your similar bug reports with manpage patches for Debian packages other than poppler because poppler is not the only Debian package that is short of developer time. Your method of trying to fix upstream documentation by sending emails to Debian is less efficient and effective than doing just a bit more work to submit the fixes upstream. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
