Dear Maintainer, I have been working on a small guile project, inside emacs guile repl. While doing that, I try to keep all my tooling installed from debian repos: my emacs is from debian repo, my guile binary is from debian repo, I also want to use guile-repl inside emacs (which, elpa-geiser provides) from debian repos. So, it would be good for me if the geiser-guile.el was updated to support latest guile repl capabilities for emacs. I experienced some feature disparity during a web course on guile development that I took. The instructor was able to execute the org-source-code edit buffer (containing guile scheme code) and display the results in the minibuffer area while my elpa-geiser (supplying the guile repl capabilities in emacs) was not able to do so. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.8 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable'), (100, 'bookworm-fasttrack') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.5-2.qubes.fc37.x86_64 (SMP w/1 CPU thread; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages elpa-geiser depends on: ii dh-elpa-helper 2.0.16 ii emacs 1:29.4+1-4~bpo12+1 ii emacs-gtk [emacsen] 1:29.4+1-4~bpo12+1 ii emacsen-common 3.0.5 ii install-info 6.8-6+b1 elpa-geiser recommends no packages.
