Package: python3-flickrapi
Version: 2.1.2-5.1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Instantiating the FlickrAPI object is the first step to using this package.
Attempting to do so on my machine results in an OperationalError being raised,
instead of the object being created and returned.

I expect that the FlickrAPI object should be able to be instantiated.

Not being able to instantiate the FlickrAPI object makes python3-flickapi
completely unusable.

There is an upstream issue [2], not filed by me, that reports the same behavior
that I am seeing. The upstream project [1] has been put in archival mode since
Nov 23, 2024, so I believe it is no longer being worked on. I am supposing
there is little chance this will be fixed upstream.
