Dear all!
Following the bug report I would have expected that with libasound2
1.0.11-7 the problems should be fixed, but I still have the same
problems.
Acer TravelMate 3012
Mixers:
0: Realtek ALC883
Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition
Audio Controller (rev 02)
I am running kernel 2.6.17-rc6-mm2, so the latest of the mm kernels,
which I suppose should include the latest alsa stuff.
I have tried loading the module (snd_hda_intel) with various
parameters/parameter-combinations, all without success (and I checked
the alsamixer for un-muting all settings!).
Below you will see that /proc/asound/version ships out 1.0.11rc4, but I
took the rc4 to final patch or whatever and checked and all items were
already in the kernel (patch -R had only some shifts and hardly any
reject). So I assume that it is really 1.0.11 final.
Any idea greatly appreciated!
