Our current opencv version in sid is quite ancient. I intend to make the transition towards the latest 4.10 version. One notable change is that the libopencv_barcode.so from opencv 4.6, has been merged into the libopencv_objdetect.so in opencv 4.10, so some reverse dependencies will see link error due to missing shared objects. Such observations are reported correspondingly. See detail below. I did a ratt on ppc64el. Although I wanted to double check the failed ones on amd64 since they do not support ppc64el at all -- I could not do it right now since opencv's build dependency was broken for python3.13. 2025/01/06 19:45:36 Build results: 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: ukui-greeter 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: opencfu 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: ros-vision-opencv 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: ukui-biometric-auth 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: openimageio 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: freecad 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: tomopy 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: gst-plugins-bad1.0 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: node-opencv 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: monado 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: qimgv 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: frei0r 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: eviacam 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: visp 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: ffcv 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: siril 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: darknet 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: kde-spectacle 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: actiona 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: nomacs 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: performous 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: gmic 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: uprightdiff 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: kylin-scanner 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: mrgingham 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: libkysdk-applications 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: ukui-biometric-manager 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: auto-multiple-choice 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: mlt 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: osm2pgsql 2025/01/06 19:45:36 PASSED: ukui-screensaver 2025/01/06 19:45:36 FAILED: digikam (see buildlogs/digikam_4:8.5.0-1) | due to unsatisfiable dependency on imagemagick, does not support ppc64el 2025/01/06 19:45:36 FAILED: sight (see buildlogs/sight_24.1.0-1) | sbuild dependency issue, does not support ppc64el 2025/01/06 19:45:36 FAILED: mupen64plus-core (see buildlogs/mupen64plus-core_2.6.0-1) | does not support ppc64el 2025/01/06 19:45:36 FAILED: mrpt (see buildlogs/mrpt_1:2.14.7+ds-1) | FTBFS, cannot find -lopencv_barcode | reported at #1092501 2025/01/06 19:45:36 FAILED: ros-image-transport-plugins (see buildlogs/ros-image-transport-plugins_1.15.0-3) | Already FTBFS due to other reason #1089193 2025/01/06 19:45:36 FAILED: ros-opencv-apps (see buildlogs/ros-opencv-apps_2.0.2-10) | cannot find -lopencv_barcode | reported at #1092502 2025/01/06 19:45:36 FAILED: os-autoinst (see buildlogs/os-autoinst_4.6.1731418769.97d9a7fd-1) | fail some test suite on ppc64el, same as https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=os-autoinst 2025/01/06 19:45:36 FAILED: obs-advanced-scene-switcher (see buildlogs/obs-advanced-scene-switcher_1.28.1-1) | sbuild dependency problem, same as https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=obs-advanced-scene-switcher&suite=sid I'll append the amd64 results for the ones that do not support ppc64el, when python3.13 does not block the builds.
