Dear maintainer: All the above packages currently fail to build from source with the message I've put in the Subject: An example from diet-ng: ../meson.build:1:0: ERROR: D compiler ldc2 cannot compile programs. dh_auto_configure: error: cd obj-x86_64-linux-gnu && DEB_PYTHON_INSTALL_LAYOUT=deb LC_ALL=C.UTF-8 meson setup .. --wra p-mode=nodownload --buildtype=plain --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var --libdir=lib/x86_64-linux-gnu -Dpython.bytecompile=-1 returned exit code 1 make: *** [debian/rules:8: build] Error 25 dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build subprocess returned exit status 2 I've put full build logs for all four here: https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/202501/ I believe the packages themselves are not to blame for this, but I'm currently unable to determine the root cause. So I'm filing this report with the hope that it may be investigated and reassigned properly, please use reassign and affects on the above four src: packages.
