I'm not the maintainer, but given that this RC bug (+patch) was open for ~2 months with no visible activity[0], I suggest skipping the 7 day delay entirely. Especially since a) the maintainers haven't uploaded this package since 2018, and b) chromium won't be able to migrate to testing as long as libmodpbase64 is missing.
