* What was the outcome of this action?

Version 2024.02 has been installed.

* What outcome did you expect instead?

Version 2024.12 has been installed.

I suspect this is caused by a syntax change in the image filename:

grml-small-2024.12-amd64.iso vs grml64-small_2024.02.iso

But update-grml-rescueboot only looks for
grml[0-9]{2}-(full|small)_([0-9]{4}\.[0-9]{2})\.iso

I see at least two differences: Placement and syntax of architecture as
well as an underscore that changed to a dash.
