This month, GNOME has switched to the GNOME Release Service which generally restricts access to publish tarballs on download.gnome.org to projects hosted in either the GNOME or Incubator groups on GNOME Gitlab. There could be exceptions but since NetworkManager is not even hosted on GNOME Gitlab (it uses Freedesktop Gitlab instead!), I would expect that future tarballs would be served from Freedesktop's website instead. If you don't need the pre-built HTML docs and manpages (which maybe Debian doesn't want anyone to ensure we can rebuild from source), then you may want to use the automatically tagged tarballs. Otherwise, there are released versions available at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/releases including this week's new 1.50.1 release. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
