APT now build with OpenSSL (and sqv), hence sqv is the only thing left pulling in nettle in the base system. In Ubuntu I applied the following lines: override_dh_auto_install: dh_auto_install -- --features=crypto-openssl --no-default-features (abusing that cargo is building in dh_auto_install only, and dh_auto_build is a no-op) You may have different preferences on how to express the same concept. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers plucky APT policy: (500, 'plucky'), (500, 'oracular-security'), (100, 'plucky-proposed') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.11.0-13-generic (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C.UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages sqv depends on: ii libc6 2.40-4ubuntu1 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-11ubuntu1 ii libssl3t64 3.4.0-1ubuntu2 sqv recommends no packages. sqv suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- debian developer - deb.li/jak | jak-linux.org - free software dev ubuntu core developer i speak de, en
