Hi,
as it is discussed in bug #967864 gfm depends on deprecated libglade2
which should be removed it makes probably sense to remove gfm. While
upstream is active in principle and was answering very quickly there is
no schedule for an upgrade of the toolkit.
We agreed to remove the package from Debian and might re-introduce it
in case it might work with toolkits that are maintained in Debian.
