With the xorg.conf you showed, it doesn't seem possible for your bug to be the same as 372858; but I also have no other idea what it could be, either. I'm going to go ahead and merge this report with that report; 372858 should be fixed soon in an upload of xfonts-utils, so it should be possible then to find out for sure whether or not it's the same bug.
