Package: libsdl1.2debian Version: 1.2.15+dfsg2-6~deb10u1 Severity: important
Dear Maintainer, I'm trying to run a SDL1.2 based app that uses a touchscreen for user input. This app runs fine on Debian 7.11. On Debian 10.13 I get absolute garbage events from the touchscreen. It appears libsdl1.2debian does not have SDL_INPUT_TSLIB enabled so it does not have tslib support. This is needed to handle the multi-touch events from the touchscreen. I downloaded the source for libsdl1.2 and configured/built it with tslib support and my app then works properly with the touchscreen, I suggest enabling the SDL_INPUT_TSLIB feature so that touchscreens can be properly supported. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.13 APT prefers oldoldstable-updates APT policy: (500, 'oldoldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldoldstable') Architecture: armhf (armv7l) Kernel: Linux 4.19.94-ti-r74 (SMP w/1 CPU core; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libsdl1.2debian depends on: ii libasound2 1.1.8-1 ii libc6 2.28-10+deb10u4 ii libcaca0 0.99.beta19-2.1+deb10u1 ii libpulse0 12.2-4+deb10u1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.7-1+deb10u4 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1+b2 libsdl1.2debian recommends no packages. libsdl1.2debian suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
