superqt is actually more like qtpy - it is Qt-backend agnostic, providing additional Qt widgets to any Qt+Python program, and using qtpy to avoid being tied to PyQt/PySide etc.
I think that means that no change is needed for the dependencies of the binary package python3-superqt. Specifying which Python Qt implementation should be used is up to whichever package is using superqt.
However, adding build-deps and test-deps for all of the different backends and running the tests again each one would make sense.
