r-cran-lme4 seems to be available for Debian 12 following https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/r-cran-lme4, however, I encountered an issue while attempting to install the `r-cran-lme4` package on my Debian 12 system. I want to mention that I tried this after ading the CRAN repository for R and intalling it. Here are the steps I followed and the resulting error: 1. Installed R version 4.4.2 following all the process for Debian 12 - bookworm. 2. Ran the command: sudo apt install r-cran-lme4 3. The following error message appeared: The following packages have unmet dependencies: r-cran-processx : Depends: r-cran-ps (>= 1.2.0) but it is not installable r-cran-rematch2 : Depends: r-cran-tibble but it is not installable r-cran-testthat : Depends: r-cran-ps (>= 1.3.4) but it is not installable r-cran-waldo : Depends: r-cran-tibble but it is not installable E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. 4.
