HiThis is an editorial request. Neither 4.4 nor 5.6.1 states that the first package in `d/changelog` must be aligned with the `Source` field in `d/control`. Arguably, it is possibly implicit.
Nevertheless, the only explicit document reference that I can find is `man:deb-src-control(5)` (when describing the `Source` field). It is definitely a MUST requirement. Even though `dpkg` says "should" in that manpage, it flat out aborts if the two are not aligned.
I could see an argument for documenting it in 4.4 with a mention that historical entries can have a different package name if the source package was ever renamed.
