Package: debhelper
Version: 5.0.35
Severity: wishlist

The dpatch(1) seems to be simple and easily supported from the
debian/rules file. However the documentation to make use of it
is almost non-existent. This could be improved if the default
template contained following lines before the 'CFLAGS' statement:

 # NOTE: If you use dpatch(1), you moight want to use make targets
 # 'patch' and 'unpatch' that are available by unncommenting:
 # include /usr/share/dpatch/dpatch.make
