The bug is triggered when during trading you do not ask for quotes. If you do ask for quotes, EVERY TIME, even if you want to trade with the bank, you will not experience the bug.
The bug is not present in the latest gentoo release, nor have I noticed any other bugs in that gnocatan-client version, so I assume (may be a big assumption) if you simply take their code and recompile, at least the trading bug will go away.
