I belive that this is a bug in original-awk, since the "awk" alternative
includes nawk, and original-awk doesn't include it. original-awk could
probably avoid this problem by changing its update-alternatives call to
register /usr/bin/mawk as providing the nawk alternative (mawk is
required, so it will always be installed).

Alternatively, this could be considered a bug in gawk and mawk for
registering nawk as a slave link when not all awks can provide it.
Going with that line of reasoning, nawk should be managed via a separate
alternative.

It seems unreasonable for every package that uses nawk to conflict with
original-awk because of this problem.
