Package: python-scipy-doc Followup-For: Bug #1088105 The scipy doc style is indeed broken, and I'm sorry for that.
The main problem is that the doc style uses jupyterlite_sphinx, but it is not (yet) packaged for Debian and therefore can't be used to build the docs. I've filed a Request For Package #1088872 to invite the debian community to close the gap. There may be other sphinx add_ons that also need to be packaged. numpy docs for instance don't use jupyterlite_sphinx but have a related problem, as you noted. In the meantime apologies for the broken doc style. I figure it is better than the alternative of not having any docs at all. Drew
