Hi, this Debian-bug looks like a sort of master BR.
There were several comments/reports on the debian-kde mailing-list. In my case Links are not opened in Firefox (default web-browser) when clicking in quassel IRC client. As a note: autotests need to be fixed as well, see my attached patch in the Link below. MATE check was commented as it is BROKEN when run. You can fold into d/p/debian-changes if you like.
