Package: acct Version: 6.6.4-5+b2 Followup-For: Bug #1074591 `last` is now provived by wtmpdb package and is using a sqlite db in /var/lib/wtmpdb/wtmp.db The /var/log/wtmp* is still being updated, but `last` isn't reading them.
Also, you need the libpam_wtmpdb package to get user logins logged. cheers, :-Dennis -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (900, 'stable-security'), (900, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'proposed-updates-debug'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.9.12-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_USER, TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_DK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_DK.UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages acct depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.67 ii libc6 2.40-3 ii lsb-base 11.6 ii sysvinit-utils [lsb-base] 3.11-1 acct recommends no packages. acct suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
