I will tackle other bugs in the > meantime, and get back to it once RC bugs are under control. bioperl-run and reverse dependencies still have large popcon compared to Debian Med standards. I eventually pushed the package version 1.7.3-12 which skips the affected test. The issue is probably still there, if this is not a bug in the test code per se, so I leave the bug open, but reduce the severity, as the test failure should not be fatal anymore and the build goes through.
