Hi, A fix has been checked in upstream for this issue here: https://gitlab.com/sane-project/backends/-/merge_requests/857
It turned out to be a problem in the hp5590 backend. This fix will appear in the next release if a patch is not issued for Debian in the meantime. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Cheers, Ralph Little
