Pre-discussed on https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2024/11/msg00191.html

The last release this was even nominally used in was bullseye,
and the maintainer trimmed the vestigial dependencies off since
(they were all accidental).

GNU Pth has been utterly obsolete since pthreads became ubiquitous.
It's not compatible with libraries that aren't explicitly compatible with it.
For compiling very old software, we have src:npth that's API-compatible
but implements the threads with pthreads so it has a higher chance of working.

It's been out of testing since August. There's no real user bugs since
like 2012 (around the time where gpg dropped this dependency:

https://salsa.debian.org/debian/gnupg2/-/commit/7683f936e7228dd05d1588a6b881aef9fe053669),
just FTBFSes to keep forward-porting it from 2004 to $(date +%Y).
