A transition is ongoing to rebuild all Python packages against python3.13, as announced on debian-devel and debian-python: <https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2024/11/msg00131.html> The majority of packages will be rebuilt in binNMUs without requiring source changes, so bug reports like this are not really actionable for the package's maintainer. Please wait until there has been time for mass-rebuilds to be attempted before filing bugs similar to this one. If you would like to speed up transitions like this one, the place to start is by investigating and fixing packages that were already attempted, but were not rebuilt successfully. Thanks, smcv
