Hi Javier, I'm currently working on checksecurity since it showed up as a candidate for the Bug of the Day[1]. Before I come up with some formal ITS about moving it to the Debian team on Salsa (where I've created a repository[2] and fixed some of the bugs) I'm going through the list of bugs and stumbled upon this one. It was some time ago when you was not the maintainer of this package that you filed the bug report. Now you are the maintainer and could fix the issue easily. Any reason you might have changed your mind? Or do you think that the package really should be "important" (which I tend to agree) - so I would simply do so in Git and close the bug in d/changelog.
Kind regards Andreas. [1] https://salsa.debian.org/tille/tiny_qa_tools/-/wikis/Tiny-QA-tasks#bug-of-the-day [2] https://salsa.debian.org/debian/checksecurity -- https://fam-tille.de
