From a fast look build on loong64 with 7.20 will fails also in experimental in any case (with binutils < 2.44) and need to backports this: https://github.com/memtest86plus/memtest86plus/pull/457
the d/memtest86+.install file once find the exact names it generates should be quick, as well as maybe editing d/control while the grub configuration might take longer to look at properly and adapt
