No, acpi only reads the standard /sys/class/{power_supply/{BAT,AC},thermal/{thermal_zone,cooling_device}} interfaces that Linux exposes. (And /proc/acpi/{battery,ac_adapter,thermal_zone,fan} I suppose but that's nigh-undocumented and very much obsolete x86 magic that's at best equivalent to the standard interface.) If your /sys/class/thermal/ has an invalid read-out, this is a Linux bug. > -- System Information: > Debian Release: 8.0 > APT prefers testing > APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') > Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) > Foreign Architectures: i386 > > Kernel: Linux 3.19.3-rc5 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) > Locale: LANG=en_IN.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_IN.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) > Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash > Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) > > Versions of packages acpi depends on: > ii libc6 2.19-15 > > acpi recommends no packages. > > acpi suggests no packages. > > -- no debconf information
