Package: qemu Version: 0.8.1-1 Severity: wishlist the windows vista beta 2 installer (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/preview.mspx) requires a BIOS that is ACPI compatible. this is a formal request for qemu to support emulation of an ACPI-capable BIOS. the exact error message during boot from the vista install iso on qemu is "Windows failed to load because the firmware (BIOS) is not ACPI compatible."
