Package: ipmitool
Version: 1.8.19-4+deb12u1
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

I tried to get IPv6 details out of "ipmitool lan print"

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I typed "ipmitool lan print" and saw only IPv4 information despite
knowing that IPv6 addresses were set. I read the man page for how to
retrieve these details and found nothing.

I searched the web and found that since v1.8.18 (2016) there has been a
"lan6" sub-command which gives this information. I tried "ipmitool lan6
print" and this worked. I have no idea what else "lan6" can do as it is
undocumented.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

I was able to get the information I needed with an undocumented command.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

For documentation of "lan6" to appeat in the mean page after that for
"lan".
