Package: libcyrus-imap-perl Version: 3.10.0-1 Severity: serious Justification: Policy 2.2.1
Dear Maintainer, Running on a system with bookworm, trixie and sid available, cyrus-imapd appears to be uninstallable due to dependencies. On investigation, it seems this comes down to libcyrus-imap-perl requiring perlapi-5.38.2 which appears not to be provided by any packages in Debian main for these releases, if I'm looking at things correctly. If I can provide any further information, please do let me know and I'll be happy to. All the best, -DH. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (550, 'testing'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (450, 'unstable'), (450, 'stable'), (445, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.10.6-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_GB.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libcyrus-imap-perl depends on: ii libc6 2.40-3 ii libpcre2-posix3 10.42-4+b1 ii libpcre3 2:8.39-dmo1 ii libpq5 17.0-1+b2 ii libsasl2-2 2.1.28+dfsg1-8 ii libsqlite3-0 3.46.1-1 ii libssl3t64 [libssl3] 3.3.2-1 ii perl 5.40.0-6 pn perlapi-5.36.0 <none> pn perlapi-5.38.2 <none> ii zlib1g 1:1.3.dfsg+really1.3.1-1 Versions of packages libcyrus-imap-perl recommends: ii libterm-readline-gnu-perl 1.46-1+b3 libcyrus-imap-perl suggests no packages.
