Can this bug be closed and marked as done?
There are still a bunch of packages (now only in unstable) that
{build,}-depend on pcre3 - see the list of blocking bugs at the top of
the bug page.
I am still hoping they'll all be fixed before the trixie freeze; if not
then at some point shortly before then I'll put in the removal request
(which will then cause all of those packages to also be pulled from
unstable).
