Package: gdebi Version: 0.9.5.7+nmu10 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: infradrag...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, When using gdebi to install deb files (for specific examples, thorium-browser and xfce4-docklike-plugin), gdebi does not let me install the package, saying: Status: Error: Depenedancy is not satisfiable libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.39.4) This does not occur when installing the package with apt, which installs it without complaint. When running apt show libglib, it reports that it is a virtual package, but with -a, it reports version 2.78.4-1 I am using the debian testing repositories. This did not happen until about a month ago. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.11.3-3-liquorix-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_USER, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gdebi depends on: ii gdebi-core 0.9.5.7+nmu10 ii gir1.2-gtk-3.0 3.24.43-4 ii gir1.2-vte-2.91 0.78.0-1 ii pkexec 125-2 ii python3 3.12.6-1 ii python3-gi 3.48.2-1+b1 Versions of packages gdebi recommends: pn libgtk2-perl <none> ii lintian 2.119.0 ii shared-mime-info 2.4-5+b1 gdebi suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
