Effectively, you state here that you are working on fixing #1050087 and that doing so depends on other packages being changed. Would you take the extra step and mailing this status update to #1050087? Would you also be able reference other bugs in other packages that are prerequisite to making progress? (e.g. the perl transition bug) And then, please just close this removal bug. Helmut
