On the upstream issue https://github.com/ostreedev/ostree/issues/3299, Github user sascha-wi asked whether Debian sid is affected. The answer to that is shown in the version-tracking metadata: ostree versions 2024.7-2 and older were affected by this bug, but versions 2024.7-3 and 2024.8-1 are fixed. If you are still affected by this issue after upgrading the libostree-1-1 package to version 2024.7-3 or later, please check that you do not have a locally-built libostree-1.so.1 somewhere else in the library search path, for example in /usr/local/lib or in your home directory. smcv
