Hi, gtk2-engines-oxygen came up as candidate for the Bug of the Day[1] candidate. Thus I had a look into its bugs but I personally do not see anything easily doable for Package Salvage team. I was a bit astonished to find the repository moved from Alioth kde-extras team[2] to Salsa debian/ team[3]. Is this an intended move? IMHO it would be great to have some upload to announce the new Vcs fields - and I'd happily help to do so including modernising the packaging if there is some consensus about this.
I've CCed those three bugs that are concerning the deprecated GTK2 and wonder whether it might make sense to rather turn this package into gtk3-engines-oxygen which is released as version 1.4.1[4]. I think this is more than the Package Salvage team will do - however I would like to give a hint about this here in case nobody has thought about this before. Kind regards Andreas.
