Hello Torsten, systemd meanwhile complains about rng-tools-debian not providing a unit file. I found lines like the own below in the journal of a VM I am running:
Oct 12 20:58:58 host systemd-sysv-generator[5121]: SysV service '/etc/init.d/rng-tools-debian' lacks a native systemd unit file. ♻️ Automatically generating a unit file for compatibility. Please update package to include a native systemd unit file, in order to make it safe, robust and future-proof. ⚠️ This compatibility logic is deprecated, expect removal soon. ⚠️ To me it looks like at least a unit file supporting the same level of functionality like the sysv init script is needed short-term. As far as I know Debian trixie is planned to be released without systemd-sysv-generator. There is also a tracker [1] listing all packages currently without a systemd unit file. Cheers, Sven [1] https://udd.debian.org/bugs/?release=trixie&merged=ign&fnewerval=7&flastmodval=7&fusertag=only&fusertagtag=missing-systemd-service&fusertaguser=bluca%40debian.org&rc=1&allbugs=1&sortby=source&sorto=asc&format=html#results -- GPG Fingerprint 3DF5 E8AA 43FC 9FDF D086 F195 ADF5 0EDA F8AD D585
