Package: kernel-package Version: 10.048 Severity: normal Hello,
I have observed today that the symlink arch/powerpc/include/asm was not added to the last set of headers that I made for linux 2.6.16.17 on my PowerBook5,2 laptop. This led to the imposibility to compile a module which was including the suspend.h file in one of its source files because the include/suspend.h file includes the arch specific header with the same name, which is not present in the headers package. The symlink in question points to include/asm-ppc and this is the correct target for the symlink in question. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.17-merci Locale: LANG=ro_RO.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ro_RO.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages kernel-package depends on: ii dpkg 1.13.21 package maintenance system for Deb ii dpkg-dev 1.13.21 package building tools for Debian ii file 4.17-1 Determines file type using "magic" hi gcc [c-compiler] 4:4.1.1-1 The GNU C compiler hi gcc-4.0 [c-compiler] 4.0.3-3 The GNU C compiler ii gcc-4.1 [c-compiler] 4.1.1-2 The GNU C compiler ii gettext 0.14.5-4 GNU Internationalization utilities ii make 3.81-2 The GNU version of the "make" util ii perl 5.8.8-5 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii po-debconf 1.0.2 manage translated Debconf template Versions of packages kernel-package recommends: ii bzip2 1.0.3-2 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6-dev [libc-dev] 2.3.6-13 GNU C Library: Development Librari -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
