Hi,
since nullident was salvaged by in the Bug of the Day[1] initiative I
tried to apply your suggested patch[2]. I might have misinterpreted your
suggestion. If I uncomment this line[2] this leads to errors in postinst.
Feel free to provide a MR which properly implements your suggestion.
