Hi Stefano, I have some issues trying to reproduce this bug.
I could build and run tests in an virtualenv without issues. On the other hand, during a build with sbuild I had this error with numpy: ``` ImportError while loading conftest '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/.pybuild/cpython3_3.13_contourpy/build/tests/conftest.py'. tests/conftest.py:10: in <module> from contourpy import FillType, LineType, ZInterp contourpy/__init__.py:5: in <module> import numpy as np /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/numpy/__init__.py:135: in <module> raise ImportError(msg) from e E ImportError: Error importing numpy: you should not try to import numpy from E its source directory; please exit the numpy source tree, and relaunch E your python interpreter from there. ``` I built numpy with python3-defaults from experimental. I could note in the build in debusine that it use pybind11 2.13.5, but now there's a new version 2.13.6. Could you please re-run the build to see if at least if the error is reproduced? Thank you very much! -- cheers, Emmanuel Arias ⢀⣴⠾⠻⢶⣦⠀ ⣾⠁⢠⠒⠀⣿⡁ eam...@debian.org ⢿⡄⠘⠷⠚⠋⠀ OpenPGP: 13796755BBC72BB8ABE2AEB5 FA9DEC5DE11C63F1 ⠈⠳⣄
