I agree with Helmuth. This package always remained at single-digit popcon so was pretty low on my TODO list. Simultaneously, it has a set of dependencies, which always have the potential to generate maintenance work -- as this numpy RC bug here. Users can always grab the version from PyPI, and I look forward to TPOT2, upstream's rewrite of TPOT.
