directfb has been orphaned in Debian since 2018 and is effectively
unmaintained.
If DirectFB support is considered to be an essential part of xine-lib-1.2,
please adopt the directfb package (possibly in collaboration with the
maintainers of other packages that depend on it) and fix its RC bugs.
Or, if the xine-lib-1.2 maintainers are not interested in adopting directfb,
please consider disabling the DirectFB backend and removing the
build-dependency.
