directfb has been orphaned (unmaintained) in Debian since 2018 (see
also #1083037) and I think it's time to consider removing it from the
distribution. If I am reading correctly, directvnc requires DirectFB
and does not have any other display backends?
If directvnc is still relevant/useful and maintained, please adopt its
dependency directfb (possibly by forming a team with the maintainers of
other packages that use it) and fix the release-critical bugs in directfb
and directvnc.
Or, if directvnc is no longer relevant for release in Debian 13, can we
remove it from unstable to stop it from blocking the removal of directfb?
