Hi. I don't think we should release trixie with this bug, as it's also affecting the build of other packages, not just designate-dashboard. And the bug does not go away by using nocheck, as the error happens even before the build-dependencies are correctly installed. The bug is still random and you might still think that the probability of failure (around 5% - 10%) is low and acceptable, but it's actually very annoying because sbuild thinks it's a bug of type "unsatisfiable build-depends" (as the failure happens while the build-dependencies are being installed). My offer for a VM still holds, but I think you should first investigate how this can happen. Also, please *please* forward the bug upstream at least. Thanks.
