Package: duply
Version: 2.4.1-1

Hi,

This is not really a bug, but I thought I'd raise an issue so that no-one else
creates duplicates if they run into the problem.

I wanted to ask if it would be possible to add Duply 2.5.3 to Bookworm's
backports repository? Would this be something either the duply maintainer or
the duplicity backports maintainer could support?

Context: Alexander Zangerl has already added duplicity 2.1.4 to backports [1].
Duplicity 2.x has some breaking changes to the flags. In particular,
`--file-to-restore` is now `--path-to-restore`.

This breaks the ability to use duply in Debian Bookworm with the newer
(backported) duplicity, because duply hardcodes `--file-to-restore` in its
'fetch' subcommand. This issue is fixed in Duply 2.5.0.

You can see Ubuntu users got hit even harder by this in 24.04 (without any
'backported' version). So I recognise that the issue is less dire in Debian
(stable versions of the two packages work just fine together :) ), but for
those of us who need the newer Duplicity from backports, it would be great to
have a newer Duply as well.

Thanks to both the duplicity and duply Debian maintainers for their hard work!
